The Funday’s neoprene material is the same as many laptop sleeves, so it’s water- and bump-resistant for all the valuables inside. And the backpack, including wheels, only weighs a pound, so it’s super light for a toddler to tote.

On the inside, there are straps on one side to hold clothes and/or toys, and the other side is a full-sized zippered compartment. There’s plenty of room for travel items, and they could have the zippered part just for their favorite things. Less struggle over what to bring!
The wheels are sturdy inline skate-style, and their wide diameter makes the bag easy to control in turns if they’re running around with it. The Shopkins design is cute sweets with a colorful rainbow background, but it’s half pink, so it’s probably more popular with girls than boys.

The backpack’s large main compartment has a slot to fit a tablet, two zippered outside pockets, and mesh bottle holders on both sides. And since it’s 16.5” tall, it will hold a lot of stuffies now and school stuff later. There’s a sturdy set of four wheels at the bottom, two on each side. It comes in many cute designs like racecar and monster truck motifs, as well as owl and llama patterns.

After over 100 hours testing with 19 different backpacks, we narrowed it down to just 7 rolling backpacks that our toddlers found easy to use, and fun to play with.Â
Each of these toddler rolling backpacks has great features, and picking one may depend on your particular toddler. But with everything taken under consideration, the one that was an almost unanimous favorite with all the toddlers during testing was the Funday rolling backpack.Â
What we loved about this backpack was its lightweight and expandable water-resistant fabric, and it was the easiest for kids to handle, which makes them happy, and that makes dads happy too!
